Fan Casting Bob Kohler in Stonewall

Bob Kohler is the seasoned left-wing radical who serves as the vital link between the Civil Rights Movement and the birth of gay liberation. At 43, Bob is an underground legend in the Village, a talent manager who spends his days walking his beloved dogs on Christopher Street and his nights organizing alongside the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) and the Black Panthers. Because he already understands how real revolutions are fought, Bob doesn't look down on the unhoused street queens; he actively protects them. When the Stonewall riots erupt, Bob is on the pavement, instantly recognizing that this isn't a mere bar brawl, but a political awakening. He immediately steps up to help Marsha, Sylvia, and Craig channel their raw, chaotic street anger into a structured, unstoppable political force, helping to form the legendary Gay Liberation Front (GLF) right in the ashes of the uprising.
