Fan Casting Christian Malvern in Stephen Herek's Tomb Raider

A bankrupt Australian whaling magnate with a cruel streak, Christian Malvern will stop at nothing to find El Dorado's treasure. He murders Darby Erikson for his map, burns entire villages to cover his tracks, and leads a private army across Peru and the Andes. Desperate to restore his fortune, Malvern is cunning, ruthless, and physically formidable. He sees Lara as an obstacle to be eliminated, but his arrogance blinds him to her resourcefulness. He ultimately falls to his death, defeated by his own greed and Lara's resolve.
