Dr. Otto Octavius as a teacher and mentor to a college-aged Peter Parker, with the cyclotron accident that creates Spider-Man also deforming Octavius into Doc Ock and resulting in his mad pursuit of proof of the Fifth Force, as he reconstructs his cyclotron and causes electromagnetic abnormalities, anti-gravity effects, and bilocation which threatens to engulf New York City and the world.
