She is a mysterious, half-decaying elderly woman who lives in the house of the Butcher, who is presumably her son, and alerts him to escapees by screaming loudly. She is missing her right hand and an eye, and sits in an electrically powered wheelchair. She first appears alerting the Butcher to Roxanne's presence in their house before Roxanne is knocked out by the Butcher. Later, during Roxanne's escape attempt, she is seen watching television and patrolling the hallways. When Roxanne manages to find a revolver, he kills her with a shot to the head, which makes the Butcher want to find Roxanne at all costs.
