A well-known Jedi Master that survived a great fall from the office of the Supreme Chancellor of The Galactic Republic, Mace Windu became a Dark Jedi hermit after going into hiding on his homeworld of Haruun Kal and would remain undiscovered up until 2 BBY, when Galen Marek would travel to Haruun Kal in search of Senator Garm Bel Iblis and would learn that Windu captured the Senator and wanted to publically hang him before the natives of Haruun Kal, forcing Galen to fight Mace for the Senator's fate.
