Garwin Sanford (born March 14, 1955 in Truro, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian actor best known for his portrayal of Narim in Stargate SG-1 and Simon Wallis in Stargate Atlantis. In 1994-95, he played Captain Taylor Shields in the historical Adventure series Hawkeye. Sanford has also made guest appearances on such television series as Airwolf (Season 4), MacGyver, Sliders, The Odyssey, The Outer Limits, Earth: Final Conflict, Dark Angel, The 4400, Eureka and Supernatural. He appeared Another Cinderella Story. In 1998 Sanford appeared in Merlin's Apprentice as Lord Weston. He's also an artist, specializing in pen and ink portraiture, and a sculptor.
Star is an unwanted young colt, with malformed wings. His closest friends are, Morningleaf, Bumblewing, Grassfire, Echofrost, Silvercloud, and Hazelwind. Star's mother died when he was born. Legends say that a black colt, just like Star, will get power strong enough to destroy the Earth, on his birthday. But the Over-stallion, Thunderwing, wants to kill Star before his birthday. So Star runs away, and grows to become a young stallion, but when he returns, his whole world is turned upside-down. Star's best friend, Morningleaf is kidnapped by the evil Over-stallion Rockwing! But, little does anyone know, Star is about to get his power. He could become the destroyer or the healer. But, luckily for them all, Star turns into the kindest healer. So, most of the Pegasi turn and follow Star, the rest go to the other groups of evil Over-stallions. (also, it is not on Netflix. The trailer is on Youtube) :)
