In this alternate timeline, the former Sith Apprentice, Galen Marek, struck down Darth Vader upon the Emperor's command, but then challenged Sidious to buy the captured Rebel leaders time to escape, only to be thrown down a nuclear reactor shaft and then had his own ship, the Rogue Shadow, brought down upon himself. Once he was reconstructed, Galen was named Lord Starkiller once again by Darth Sidious, but this time, he is a Dark Lord of the Sith that serves Palpatine's every command, as he fights for The Galactic Empire.
