Hondo Ohnaka, a male Weequay pirate led the Ohnaka Gang on the Outer Rim world of Florrum during the Clone Wars. During the war, he often came into contact with the Jedi, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano. Although it survived for the duration of the war, his gang was dissolved with the rise of the Galactic Empire, after which Hondo cast adrift as a small-time pirate and smuggler. While on his own, he became a frequent ally for the growing rebellion against the Empire, providing critical aid and intelligence at pivotal moments. He worked closely with the crew of the Ghost, becoming close to Ezra Bridger.
