Ashoka was the padawan of Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars, but left the Jedi Order not long before Anakin's turn to the darkside. She fought along many rebel factions during the Galactic Civil War, and trained up and coming Jedi Ezra Bridger. After the Battle of Endor, she went to Ahch-To to study the ancient Jedi texts, and while she knew of Luke's New Order, she had no desire to become part of it, but instead serve as a sage to the ancient texts.
