Mark Richard Hamill (born September 25, 1951) is an American actor. He is best known for starring as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise and the Joker in various animated DC Comics projects, starting with Batman: The Animated Series in 1992. Through the 1980s, Hamill distinguished himself from his Star Wars role by pursuing a Broadway theatre career, starring in productions of The Elephant Man, Amadeus and The Nerd. His other live-action film and television roles include Kenneth W. Dantley Jr. in Corvette Summer (1978), Private Griff in The Big Red One (1980), Crow in Sushi Girl (2012), Ted Mitchum in Brigsby Bear (2017), and Arthur Pym in the Netflix miniseries The Fall of the House of Usher (2023). Hamill has also had a prolific career as a voice actor. Aside from Joker, his roles include the Hobgoblin in Spider-Man: The Animated Series (1995–1998), Fire Lord Ozai in Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005–2008), Mr. Salacia and Senator Stampingston in Metalocalypse (2006–2013, 2023), and Skips in Regular Show (2010–2017).

Set 30 years after Return of the Jedi. Inspired by the Betrayal novel in the Legacy of the Force series. The film starts at the end of Yuuzhan Vong War with Ben and Vergere escaping. Ben attempts to return to the Order while training his little sister in the ways of the force. Their journey takes them to Kashykk, along with Jedi Knight Nelani Dinn, where remaining Yuuzhan Vong are as well as Vergere. Sensing the darkness, Nelani kills an injured Verge during their fight. Eventually they realize their being there is a trap and Lumiya reveals herself. She shows Ben a version of his future and reveals his Sith training from Vergere during the war. In an attempt to stop the visions Ben kills Nelani and erases his sister's memory, letting Lumiya escape. Their mother, Senator Organa runs for Supreme Challencelor of the New Republic. With Han’s help she works to stop a civil war on Corellia after the damage from the War. Qi’ra, Han’s old flame, is now the leader of one side (resistance) of the potential civil war. Leia has to work with both sides to stop the conflict but a corrupt ally to the other side, and a former resident of Alderaan, leaks Leia’s lineage. The war is avoided but Leia loses the election. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker and a young Jedi Knight, Rey, go on another mission involving remaining Yuuzhan Vong. However, it’s soon revealed there is more to the mission. Luke is looking for an ancient artifact.
