DS-1 is a roughly one and a half season long workplace comedy in the same vein as The Office or Parks and Rec that ends abruptly and unceremoniously (think Curb Your Enthusiasm) with the destruction of the Death Star by the Rebel Alliance, in Star Wars - Episode 4: A New Hope, in the middle of the second season without warning.
The show will follow a group of office friends as they navigate the opening of the Galactic Empire’s new space station, with the events of A New Hope happening around them in the background throughout the show’s duration.
