Master Xian Zharg is a very wise and prudent man who does not like to waste words, but when he does say something it is always worth it. For a long time he refused to accept the reality of the impending war and tried his best as a diplomat to prevent it, because he was well aware of the suffering a war between the New Republic and the New Empire would entail. By the time he fully realized that war could not be prevented, it was too late. Like former Chancellor Taurel, he became fully involved in the fighting.
