A new, powerful dark guild has appeared in Fiore: Lion's Fang, and as it turns out their leader is none other than Sabertooth's former master Jiemma Orland. Lion's Fang has made their goal to acquire an ancient type of destruction Magic which was sealed away long ago, Once they do, they plan to use it to take over all of Ishgar and create Jiemma's "utopian" continent where only the strong are allowed to live, while the weak are rejected. To stop them, the new republic and an Alliance of light guilds is formed: Fairy Tail, Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus, Sabertooth, Mermaid Heel and Crime Sorciere. Ahsoka, Natsu, Luke, Lucy and their friends set off to stop the dark guild and put an end to Jiemma's reign of evil for good, with a couple of old faces coming along for the ride.
