Jan Harlan (born 5 May 1937) is a German-American executive producer who worked with the director Stanley Kubrick, his brother-in-law, on Kubrick's five films.
A significant portion of Kubrick's historical research would influence Barry Lyndon (1975), the storyline of which ends in 1789, approximately fifteen years prior to the commencement of the Napoleonic Wars.
