The Movie begins inside the Dragon Temple, Where the Fire Guardian Dragon Ignitus who watches over a brood of Eggs, but an egg containing a Foretold Purple Dragon is discovered, so Ignitus Flees with the purple dragon egg to a swam inhabited by dragonflies, who help Ignitus raise the Dragon which he named Spyro. Soon the Gnorcs Start a war against the Dragons and uses a Pawn dragon named Cynder to help him. So Spyro and Sparx have to find the elementals to help him defeat His Gnastiest
