When awkward college student Peter Parker is bitten by a radioactive spider that grants him the abilities of said spider, he must learn to use his powers responsibly, especially when his mentor is disfigured and goes mad in an accident and plots to find proof of the Fifth Force, which threatens to engulf New York City, and possibly the world.
