The episode opens on Peter's graduation. He thought because he was away for so long he wouldn't be able to graduate but something strange has happened. No one even knows he was gone, no one remembers he's Spider-Man either. His secret identity is back and he's not questioning it whatsoever. The weirdest part is it's like he never left because even Harry doesn't remember. But despite the changes he just assumed the universe travel made, he's ready to say goodbye to High School. Him, Harry, and Gwen all graduate and prepare for the future. We cut to George Stacy's funeral as Peter comforts Gwen. Things aren't as happy as they might seem now. Even though it seems like everything is back to normal, the weirdest thing happened. Doc Ock from Earth 1610 never existed and as far as everyone but Peter knows, Otto Octavius broke out of jail, stole his old technology back from Oscorp, and killed George Stacy, and is now missing. Harry watches Peter and Gwen from afar, heartbroken and ready to go along with his plans to help run Oscorp. 6 months later Peter wakes up late for class. He rushes to get his clothes on and get out the door. He gets to class at M.I.T now that he lives in Cambridge. He asks his professor if he's too late and Professor Jenkins tells him to not worry.
