The episode opens as Peter screams in pain while Otto and May talk about the effect of his identity being out in the open is going to have on him and the people he cares about. Peter stops screaming for a moment and gets off the table. He leaves the house and swings over to Time Square where he stares at the screen as Norman tells New York his plan to activate a collider that will tear a hole in space time allowing him to cross universes. He tells New York that Harry is innocent and the NYPD should let him go. Seeing all of this Peter goes to leave but realizes he is out of webs and has to run through hundreds of people who now know he is Spider-Man. Eventually Peter gets overwhelmed by the amount of people and is backed into a corner until a car shows up and lets Peter get in. Peter hops in the car to see Flash Thompson and Liz Allen. They tell Peter they can get him to where he needs to go and he tells them to head to Oscorp and then calls George to come and help. The three of them get there and meet up with George, Harry, and Quinten. Flash and Liz leave and the four of them head in and go down to the bottom floor where Norman and Dmitri are trying to escape. They manage to get Dmitri but Norman escapes. The four of them take Dmitri back to the prison but when they get there Peter is arrested for acting as a vigilante and George is arrested for breaking Otto and Alex out of prison thanks to a video of them breaking out sent to the station by an anonymous source.
