Nearly done with the transformation Peter sees a figure walking up to him. He tells Norman to leave but instead of Norman Uncle Ben shows up. Peter barely able to speak looks up at Ben who extends his hand to Peter. The symbiote starts to disappear and Peter takes Ben's hand. The two walk into a room that looks like Peter's bedroom where they sit down to talk. Ben tells Peter that things have gotten out of hand and he's been lied to. Ben tells Peter he didn't kill those people and Norman lied. He tells Peter that it wasn't even Norman and instead the symbiote. Peter asks if Ben is the symbiote and Ben tells him it doesn't matter right now. He tells Peter that with great power comes great responsibility and it's Peter's responsibility to fight this darkness. He hugs Peter and Peter opens his eyes to see he is holding Shocker by the throat. The symbiote gets off of Peter and runs away while Peter drops Shocker and swings away after being photographed by Ned Leeds. We cut to J. Jonah Jameson as he speaks with Tombstone and Mac Gargan as they make the deal to have Mac become the Scorpion.
