We find Peter Parker, now 35 years old, leading a seemingly idyllic life. Married to Mary Jane Parker and a proud father to their 8-year-old daughter, May, Peter has successfully balanced his roles as a family man and a journalist for the Daily Bugle. However, his world is abruptly shattered when the haunting laughter of the Green Goblin echoes through the city.
