Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman (born September 1, 1996) is an American actress and singer. She began her career as a child model and backup dancer. She rose to mainstream prominence for her role as Rocky Blue on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up (2010–2013). In 2013, Zendaya was a contestant on the 16th season of the dance competition series Dancing with the Stars. She produced and starred as the titular spy, K.C. Cooper, in the sitcom K.C. Undercover (2015–2018). Her film roles include the musical drama The Greatest Showman (2017), the superhero film Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and its sequels, the computer-animated musical comedy Smallfoot (2018), the romantic drama Malcolm & Marie (2021), the live-action/animation hybrid sports comedy Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021), and the science fiction epic Dune (2021).

Spider-Man into the Dark Multiverse is a 2026 American dystopian superhero film based on the Marvel Comics characters Miguel O'Hara and Peter Parker. Produced by Marvel Studios and Legendary Pictures and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is the second installment in the Spider-Man Multiverse and a sequel to Spider-Man Begins. Directed by Neill Blomkamp and Jon Watts from a screenplay by Sam Raimi and Marc Webb, the film stars Gabriel Luna and Tom Holland as Miguel O'Hara and Peter Parker, supported by Saoirse Ronan, Zendaya, Dane DeHaan, J.K. In the film, O'Hara's message two years ago receives a response from an alternate Peter Parker, who offers to help O'Hara stop Harry Osborn on the condition that he helps him first, which he agrees. They later team up with another alternate Parker to stop Osborn and the daughter of his world's version of Electro, Aftershock. Spider-Man into the Dark Multiverse opened in theaters on December 6th, 2026; like its predecessor, it was widely praised by critics and audiences, with praise for its story, themes, and Luna and Holland's performances, as well as its direction, screenplay, stunts, emotional weight, Hans Zimmer's musical score, visuals, and action sequences. It was also a blockbuster success, grossing $871 million worldwide. A sequel is in development.
