So to answer the question, no Gordillio's MCU is not being restored, I felt motivated and decided to make another Spider-Man story set in the same universe (but with some different castings since I feel like I've grown as a fancaster since then). Plot: "The story takes place 2 months after the battle with the Scorpion. Peter has graduated from collage and moved in with Gwen, they now live as a happy couple. Harry has reconnected with Peter and talks about the difficulties of having Norman as a father. He tells me that he's obsessed with Spider-Man and says he's ruining all his business plans, and he takes out all his anger on Harry. Norman decides one day to destroy Spider-Man once and for all and sees an opportunity to create a helper when a cancer-stricken man named Adrian Toomes asks Norman for help in curing his illness. He blackmailes and brainwashes Toomes and makes him a dreaded weapon dealer under Norman's command. He sends Toomes on Peter and a big fight breaks out, causing Toomes to kill police captain Stacy when he manages to rip off Peter's mask." The film will be very much about how Peter grew as a person and hero and how the sentence "With great power comes great responsibility!" changed his life for the better.
