For those who don't know, in the Second Spider-Man movie in Sam Raimi's trilogy, Jake Gyllenhaal almost played Spider-Man. Tobey Maguire was injured at that point and a lot of people didn't think he would be set to reprise his role. So, they almost brought in Jake Gyllenhaal to play the character.
