Nicholas Brendon Schultz (April 12, 1971 – March 20, 2026), known professionally as Nicholas Brendon, was an American actor and writer. He was best known for his character Xander Harris on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
I was digging up old articles from Ain't it Cool News for the first Spider-Man movie back in January 2000, when Sam Raimi was announced as director, everyone in the comments was making up their fancasts already. It seems like fans wanted Doc Ock as the first film's villain with Gwen Stacy as the love interest, then Green Goblin in the sequel where Gwen dies and MJ being introduced.
