Judith Therese Evans (born July 20, 1975), known professionally as Judy Greer, is an American actress. She is primarily known as a character actress who has appeared in various films. She rose to prominence for her supporting roles in the films Jawbreaker (1999), What Women Want (2000), 13 Going on 30 (2004), Elizabethtown (2005), 27 Dresses (2008), and Love & Other Drugs (2010). Greer expanded into multiple genres with roles in films, such as The Wedding Planner (2001), Adaptation (2002), The Village (2004), The Descendants (2011), Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2011), Carrie (2013), Men, Women & Children (2014), Grandma (2015), Lemon (2017), Where'd You Go, Bernadette (2019), Uncle Frank (2020), and Hollywood Stargirl (2022). She appeared in numerous blockbusters, such as Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) and its sequel War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), Jurassic World (2015), Halloween (2018) and its sequel Halloween Kills (2021), and the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Ant-Man (2015), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023). She made her directorial debut with the comedy-drama film A Happening of Monumental Proportions (2017). It’s been almost a year since Spider-Man revealed himself to the world, and his alter-ego Peter Parker has enjoyed his new life as somewhat of a celebrity amongst the people of New York City. While Peter as Spider-Man continues to fight crime across New York City, Peter as himself faces the challenges dealing with day-to-day life activities. Balancing between staying up to date with his high school education along with trying to find his first job, as he discovers that his Aunt May has been struggling to work enough shifts as an emergency room nurse to pay all the house and electrical bills. Peter finds a job ad online from the Daily Bugle newspaper who are looking for a photographer to take professional pictures of Spider-Man, Peter believes that this could be the perfect job for him. In a series of crime fighting activities Peters documents everything on his portable camera and taking snapshots of himself in action so that he’s able to present to the Bugle’s editor, J Jonah Jameson. He arrived to the Bugle and he is taken to Jameson’s office by his PA Betty Brant. Interrupting a meeting with editor Randy Robertson Peter comes in a delivers his photos, while impressed with Peter’s photography skills Peter doesn’t seems to impressed in his assumptions and conspiracies about Spider-Man. Jameson puts Peter in his place as he pays him and sends him on his way.
