Anthony Dwane Mackie (born September 23, 1978) is an American actor. He gained wide recognition for portraying Sam Wilson / Falcon / Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, beginning with the film Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), and headlining the Disney+ miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021) and its continuation film Captain America: Brave New World (2025). Mackie made his film debut in 8 Mile (2002), and earned critical recognition for his roles in Brother to Brother (2004), which garnered him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Actor, and The Hurt Locker (2008), which earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the AAFCA Awards. He also played Tupac Shakur in Notorious (2009) and Martin Luther King Jr. in the HBO film All the Way (2016). On television, Mackie starred as Takeshi Kovacs in the second season of Netflix's Altered Carbon (2020) and currently leads the Peacock series Twisted Metal (2023–present). In theatre, he has performed in Broadway and Off-Broadway adaptations, including Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, A Soldier's Play, and Carl Hancock Rux's Talk, for which he won an Obie Award in 2002. We open with Peter Parker trying to focus on being Spider-Man alone but struggles with missing MJ and his best friend Ned, when a threat became to big he must break his promise and team with an unexpected ally in Punisher to protect those he loves. with a team-up with the Black Widow to stop a raging hulk to Spider-Man saving the life of Rio Morales, and stoping a Gang war between Tombstone and a Mac Gargan with a scorpion suit fused to his body. We also have the Kingpin the mayor of New York who called in Silver Sable and her task force of men to prevent Spider-man from interfering with them stopping this mob war. After Spider-man is able to stop this war and a rampaging Scorpion with the help of the Punisher and some helpful tips from his friend Carlie Cooper he is able to put the Scorpion is prison. We finally see Peter build up the courage to ask MJ on a date. We end with Spider-Man swinging across New York past Avengers tower. In the post credit scene we see Sam Wilson Captain America fly up to Spider-Man and ask if he wanted to be apart of his Avengers team.
