Gwen has become depressed after her father's death, Harry complains daily about his bad relationship with Norman and May has been acting strange lately. While all this is happening, he has tried to find out the truth about Norman by interrogating Harry and contacted New York's best lawyer Matt Murdock to try to find the truth about Norman's plans. There is also Spider-Man, who fortunately for him is New York's new police chief Yuri Watanabe strict and gets the job done regardless of the circumstances. Peter finds out through JJJ's podcast that a mysterious man walking around with tentacles has begun to wreak havoc throughout New York, killing several innocent people. "It sounds like Octavius' invention." he thinks but refuses to believe that Octavius is behind this. He begins to investigate the case and has to turn to Matt Murdock for help, thus closing the case on Norman for the time being. They manage to crack the code on who this man is and it is of course Otto Octavius. Peter is devastated but does not let that stop him from stopping his old friend.
