When we last left off with Peter everyone forgot who he was. Mj and Ned are gone from his life, and Aunt May is dead. Peter has nothing and no one. Peter decides to keep quiet to himself and doesn't want to get close to anyone. He then gets word of someone going around causing trouble and he gets a strange feeling in his stomach.
