Rosemary Harris (born September 19, 1927) is a distinguished English actress with a career spanning over seven decades. Renowned for her work in theater, film, and television, she has received numerous accolades, including a Tony Award, an Emmy Award, and a Golden Globe. Harris is perhaps best known to modern audiences for her portrayal of Aunt May in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007). Her illustrious stage career includes a Tony Award for Best Actress for her role as Eleanor of Aquitaine in The Lion in Winter (1966). She has also been nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in Tom & Viv (1994). 12 years after the Sandman and Venom went on a rampage throughout New York and 4 years after the multiversal events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker has since retired as Spider-Man and has settled down with his wife Mary Jane Watson and daughter Mayday "May" Parker. After a science experiment involving Parker's former college professor Dr. Curt Connors goes horribly wrong, Parker is forced to suit up to stop the new threat known as the Lizard. In addition to the Lizard, a disgruntled former Oscorp employee named Adrian Toomes steals multiple high tech gadgets and becomes a new villain, The Vulture. Spider-Man must battle The Lizard and The Vulture and save New York once again, while simultaneously dealing with a love affair, death in the family, and balancing his job as an executive at the Daily Bugle.
