Natalie Blake, or Natalia Blek, was the superhero Crimson Spider and a member of the New York Alliance. Natalie gained her spider-like abilities through an experimental program, known as Project Arachnid, which was formed in an attempt to overthrow the El Salvadoran government. Brainwashed by a Russian terrorist group known as the White Bear, Natalie took on the alias of Lady Justice and sought to bring anarchy to America. Eventually, Natalie joined her ex-adversary Spider-girl and, as the Crimson Spider, became a member of the New York Alliance.
