Repeatedly saved by the mysterious masked Racer X, whose extraordinary driving style mirrors that of Speed's older brother Rex - believed dead for years after a devastating crash - Speed begins to suspect the truth behind his family's greatest tragedy. With fearless pilot and girlfriend Trixie investigating from the air, loyal mechanic Sparky keeping the Mach 5 race-ready, and Spritle and Chim-Chim accidentally uncovering vital clues, the Racer family follows the trail to the dangerous Alpine Death Run. There, Speed faces the ruthless Car Acrobatic Team as collapsing roads, explosive traps, and impossible jumps push every driver to the limit. During the final showdown, Racer X reveals himself to Speed as Rex, who secretly survived and has spent years working undercover to dismantle the syndicate from within. Together, the brothers stop the organization, save the championship, and restore honor to the sport. Although Rex chooses to remain in the shadows to protect his family and continue his mission, Speed wins the Grand Prix and proves that true greatness is measured not only by speed, but by courage, loyalty, and family.
