It’s been 2 years ever since the events of season 2, Peter has actually isolated himself in a distant corner of New York. Not wanting to put anyone else in danger. He is not doing good mentally as an event plays out in his head where he feels as if he failed. He failed them. He failed them all. Peters arc in this season is his ptsd, loneliness, and mental health and learning to ask for help.
