In the year 1989 we see a younger Mary Parker staying at her bother Ben's house. The news then comes on and Mary and Ben see that it's being reported a man in green and purple armor has killed a Mary J Parker. Throughout the next 30 minutes of the movie the Goblin tracks Mary while Tom tries to make it to her first. Eventually the Goblin finds Mary and attacks her, but Tom finds her and saves her. Tom explains that the Goblin is from the future and was created by his mother Gwen Osborn. Mary asks if he is related to Norman Osborn and Tom explains the rest. Later that night they find a hotel to stay the night in. In the morning Tom goes out to get supplies while Mary stays at the hotel. When Tom comes back Mary kisses him, and they end up doing it in the hotel. The next day the Goblin finds them and kills Tom. Mary gets to an Oscorp factory where the Goblin chases her through the machines. Mary ends up leading the Goblin into a giant hydraulic compressor which destroys it.
