Hunter Parrish (born May 13, 1987) is an American actor and singer. He is known for playing Silas Botwin in Showtime's television series Weeds, as well as for appearing in several Hollywood films.
With Peter Parker begining as a teenage high school student, the series has aspects of teen angst in a modern world with modern social tools like mobiles phones/text messaging mixed with pseudo-science to create various supervillains.
