Podestà is the second main antagonist of Gillermo del Toro's stop motion film of Pinocchio. He is the representation of the character of the Coachman in this adaptation. In this version, he is an Italian fascist officer from Pinocchio's village in the service of Mussolini, who wants the immortal Pinocchio and his own son among other children to enlist in the front under the backdrop of World War II.
