Elsbeth Tascioni (née Guðmundsdóttir) is a former lawyer now turned consultant detective. Elsbeth made occasional appearances on The Good Wife and The Good Fight as an easily underestimated but genius lawyer who often got Alicia Florrick and her colleagues and loved ones out of legal troubles. Her character often makes observations at inappropriate times while still being able to stay on task to perform brilliant intellectual maneuvers, placing her in the forefront of her field.
