Hope Harcourt is a major character in Cole Porter's 1934 musical Anything Goes. She is a young heiress/debutante in love with stockbroker Billy Crocker, however, she is engaged to an English Lord and is aboard the cruise ship the S.S. American in order to wed him upon arrival in England. She has been played by Bettina Hall, Rebecca Baxter, Laura Osnes, and Nicole-Lily Baisden, among others.
