Gwyn (John Sparkes) is a character from the British sketch comedy series "Absolutely" and later the Welsh sketch comedy series "Barry Welsh is Coming". He is an eccentric Welshman with a twitch based on Frank Hovis, but without the toilet humour. Elements of Hovis' karaoke to Stoneybridge were recycled when Gwyn sang live to the studio audience.
