Moonwatcher, preferring the nickname Moon, is a female NightWing dragonet and the main protagonist of Moon Rising. She is the first known NightWing in over 2,000 years to have true prophetic and mind-reading abilities, due to being hatched under two full moons.
Unbeknownst to the majority of her tribe, Moonwatcher was raised in the Rainforest Kingdom by Secretkeeper until the age of four, when she began attending Jade Mountain Academy as a member of the Jade Winglet. She is in a relationship with Qibli.
