Meriem Cooper is the protagonist of the Cavewoman alternative comic series, created by writer-artist Budd Root, and published from 1993 to 2009, primarily by Basement Comics and additionally by Caliber Comics, Avatar Press, and currently Amryl Entertainment. Meriem Cooper is a young, superhuman jungle woman who battles dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures in the Cretaceous period.
