Dr. Jonathan Crane (November, the 16th 1974), also known as Scarecrow is a former neuro-psychologist at Osborn Unlimited and Goldspeed's arch-nemesis in the Chargeshock Thompson & the Justice Avengers series created by Man of Action. He developed a technology called "Echo-Neural" Physical appearance He's not wearing a cheap burlap mask. He wears a thin, black, bio-chemical tactical suit, and his mask is a digital visor that constantly projects a hologram of the viewer's greatest fear. When Jake looks at him, he sees his uncle's death; when Sally looks, she sees the plane crash. His voice is electronically distorted, sounding like a whisper in the back of your head. Personality Scarecrow's cold, clinical, and obsessed with live experiments. He doesn't want to destroy New York; he wants to turn the city into a social laboratory where fear eliminates reason. He sees the Justice Avengers as fascinating "test subjects," especially the hybrids. Powers and Abilities Powers Synthetic Fear: Crane has created a nanovirus that attaches itself to neurotransmitters. Once infected, the hero can no longer distinguish between reality and nightmare. Their powers begin to malfunction due to the mental stress: Jake loses control of the electricity. Sally becomes paralyzed by visions. Neuro-Clocking: Because Crane is an expert in neuro-psychology, he has installed a neural implant that allows him to process visual information faster than an average human. Passive Neural Dampener: His tactical suit emits a low-intensity frequency that affects the balance and spatial orientation of anyone who comes within 2 meters. Bio-Feedback Mimicry: The digital viewfinder not only projects images, but can also read the opponent's biometric signals (heart rate, pupil dilation, cortisol level). Syanptic Overload: A "last resort" offensive ability. Crane can force the nanovirus to fire all synapses at once. Silent Infiltration: His suit cancels out the sound of his movements and breathing. Remote Neural Hacking: If an enemy has already been infected with the "Synthetic Fear" nanovirus, Crane can use data terminals in New York (advertising screens, telephones) as transmitters to reactivate the trauma from a distance. Abilities Genius Intellect: A master strategist and manipulator, Scarecrow’s genius renders him the most intellectually clever and terrifying criminal mastermind that can dive into the minds of his opponents through nightmarish tactics. Psychology: Jonathan is a walking textbook on anxiety disorders and psychoactive drugs, and has even conducted fascinating research on how fear is the driving force of everyone’s lives and the psycho physiology of phobias. He is highly able to recite the name and description of nearly every known phobia. He even knows how to use words to affect a person's actions, once managing to drive two men to suicide with nothing but words, and uses this insight to find people's mental pressure points and exploit them. Pedagogy: He was a talented professor of psychology at Gotham State University. Weakness The Rendering Lag: Although Crane's visor projects holograms based on the victim's fear, it takes a fraction of a second to scan the brain and generate the appropriate image. Refresh Rate: Michael realized that if he moves at maximum speed (close to the speed of sound), Crane's visor is unable to keep up. The image of fear starts "to break" or have glitches. Sensor Overload: If Michael runs in tight circles around Crane, creating multiple afterimages, the visor attempts to process fear for each "copy" of Goldspeed at the same time. The Echo-Neural system crashes due to the massive data flow. Molecular Vibration: Because Michael can vibrate his molecules, he can generate a frequency that directly interferes with the nanovirus in his blood, "shaking" it off the neurotransmitters before it can attach. Obsession: Motivated by an obsessive need to create fear in others, Scarecrow goes from using the primal emotion as a weapon to the point where he preaches it. Trivia Crane was the one who oversaw Jake's "psychological evaluation" when he was hired at Osborn Unlimited, but Jake didn't remember him due to an induced mental block. He hates Nicholas Osborn because he fired him, considering Crane's experiments "too unstable for profit."

There are roughly one-sh*t billion tropes so PLEASE look through them before adding one. Otherwise add what you like. ADDITION: PLEASE read through the trope description provided before submitting something. It's not a huge deal but too often people submit characters that don't fit just because they misinterpreted the title...
