Hal Jordan (born on May 12, 1988), also known as Green Lantern, is a human superhero, a member of the Green Lantern Corps, and a recurring character in Chargeshock Thompson & the Justice Avengers. He is one of Earth's most experienced cosmic heroes and is regarded by Jake Thompson/Chargeshock as one of his greatest heroes and role models. Hal has previously worked alongside Sonic the Hedgehog, with the two developing a close friendship after several missions together. He later becomes an important mentor and ally to Jake and the Justice Avengers. Appearance Hal Jordan is a tall, athletic man with short brown hair, green eyes and a confident demeanor. He typically wears the traditional green-and-black Green Lantern uniform, featuring the iconic Green Lantern insignia across his chest. His uniform is composed of a highly durable extraterrestrial material capable of adapting to the environments he encounters throughout the galaxy. His Green Lantern ring is worn on his right hand. When operating as Hal Jordan rather than Green Lantern, he usually wears casual clothing, though his confidence and cocky attitude make him recognizable even without his uniform. Personality Hal is an energetic, charismatic and highly confident veteran hero who possesses a strong competitive streak. He is adventurous, fearless and always eager to take on a challenge, particularly when the odds are against him. He has a reputation for being cocky and occasionally reckless, often relying on his instincts rather than carefully following established procedures. However, his confidence is backed by years of experience, and when lives are on the line, Hal becomes a serious and dependable leader. Hal enjoys teasing his fellow heroes and rarely misses an opportunity to make a sarcastic remark, even during dangerous situations. His natural charisma allows him to get along with a wide variety of personalities, although his stubbornness can occasionally cause friction with other authority figures. Despite his flaws, Hal possesses a powerful sense of justice and an unwavering commitment to protecting innocent people. He believes that courage means acting even when fear is present and frequently encourages younger heroes to trust themselves. Hal has a particular soft spot for inexperienced heroes with potential, which is one of the reasons he takes an interest in Jake.
