Nikki Freeman is the main character and central figure of the 2026 supernatural horror film Obsession, directed by Curry Barker and produced by Blumhouse Productions. Portrayed by actress Inde Navarrette, her performance has received widespread critical acclaim.
In the film, Nikki is a normal music store employee whose life is completely upended when her socially awkward coworker, Baron "Bear" Bailey (played by Michael Johnston), makes a supernatural wish. After fumbling his chance to ask her out, Bear snaps a cursed "One Wish Willow" artifact and says, "I wish Nikki Freeman loved me more than anyone in the entire world."
The wish instantly fractures Nikki’s mind and body. An enigmatic, unhinged alter-ego (dubbed "Freaky Nikki" or "The Entity") takes complete possession of her, driving her to extreme, violent, and deeply unsettling lengths to keep their "relationship" alive.
