Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric (ソニックトゥーン 太古の秘宝 Sonikku Tūn: Taiko no Hihō?, lit. "Sonic Toon: Ancient Treasure") is a platformer video game for the Wii U that was developed by Big Red Button Entertainment and published by Sega. Set in the Sonic Boom series, a spin-off of the mainline Sonic the Hedgehog series, the game's story follows Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy as they go on an adventure to stop a villain known as Lyric the Last Ancient from wiping out all organic life after Sonic accidentally awakens him from his thousand year long sleep.
