Again, Eggman has survived the destruction of his base when Sonic stopped his Little Planet plot and Metal Sonic. Eggman fell and landed on West Side Island. He then contacted his Badniks from a mysterious fortress to send him a ship to take him to the fortress. Then we cut to when he gets there and oversees the construction of his ultimate weapon: the Death Egg Robot. Then the camera zooms out to let us see a moon. Only, it's no moon. It's a space station. A space station called the Death Egg!!!!
