Metal Sonic has been created by Robotnik to be faster, stronger, and better than Sonic in hopes of destroying him. Metal is the first enemy of Sonic's that actually beat him both physically, and in a race (only one time)! When Sonic and Amy were at the Rose residence, they didn't notice Metal Sonic was there, so he ambushed them, attacked, and kidnapped Amy! But near the end, Metal gets defeated as Amy is saved when Sonic beats him Sonic Generations style.
