The first time we see eleven-year old Amy is when her parents allow her to go to the field where she brings her fortune cards. Basically, the Sonic Origins cutscene. She tried out her fortune cards one time, ended up saying that a horrific monster would get her. So, she reshuffled it and ended up getting a hero card, like she always wanted. But the wind blows those cards away. When she meets Sonic, she feels like her fortune cards have paid off, since Sonic is the one who saved her, and has come to save her home. She even falls IN LOVE with the hedgehog hero!
