Robotnik says that it would have to take his vile and wicked genius to create the perfect Badniks to hunt Sonic and destroy him. They will be strong, fearless, horrifically rotten like him, but unlike the other Badniks, they will be brilliant! The first to come out was a chicken robot named Scratch. But he was "just hatched" so the intelligence hadn't kicked in yet. Give it time. Robotnik took a piece of Scratch's tail feather and put it in the machine that made him. Eggman pulled three levers, and Scratch pulled a 4th, the one he wasn't supposed to pull!!! Then, out came what was supposed to be Scratch's twin brother: a modified version of the type of Badnik called Grounder. He may not be as intelligent as Scratch, but he's got more weapons, gadgets, and accessories. The two fought over who is loved by Eggman more, and Robotnik facepalms saying "Kids."
