As a publicity stunt reference to the famous meme, at one point while eggman is going crazy over how he can never catch sonic, a crude drawing of him resembling Sonic that is taped to the wall will appear to talk to him in a hallucination, saying "You're too slow!" Before running away out of the picture. This will start Eggman's descent from comical villain to REAL villain, for the sake of making the movie new, and seem like this time Eggman is a real threat.
