After the events of Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic, Knuckles, & Tails now are the "children" of Tom & Maddie. Everything is back to normal until a bunch of new hedgehogs and other creatures turn up. This makes the UN, The Guardian Units of Nations, & The US Government question why they keep showing up here, and whos is the real heroes here and whos the real enemies here. Then Eggman comes for a third round to scheme the planet with his evil things. It is up to Sonic and his allies plus Shadow to save the day.
